Sean Chen has played before audiences around the world in solo and chamber recitals, concerto performances, and masterclasses. After winning the 2013 American Pianists Award, placing third at the 2013 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, and being named a Annenberg Fellow, Chen is now a Millsap Artist in Residence at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory. Sean Chen has performed with orchestras in cities across the country, including Fort Worth, San Diego, Indianapolis, and Philadelphia. Solo recitals have brought him to major venues worldwide, including Jordan Hall in Boston, Subculture in New York City, the American Art Museum at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., the National Concert Hall in Taipei, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Salle Cortot in Paris. Chen has been featured in both live and recorded performances broadcast in New York, Chicago, Boston, Indianapolis, and Kansas City, and has been heard on NPR’s From the Top and American Public Media’s Performance Today. Additional media coverage includes recognition as “One to Watch” by International Piano Magazine. Sean Chen’sCD releases include the 2021 all-Ravel digital album on the Steinway & Sons label. His own arrangement of Ravel’s La Valse was hailed for “penetrating artistic intellect” (Audiophile Audition), and alive recording from the Cliburn Competition released by Harmonia Mundi was praised for his “ravishing tone and cogently contoured lines” (Gramophone). Chen has also contributed to the catalog of Steinway’s new Spirio system.Born in Florida, SeanChen grew up in California. His impressive achievements before college include the NFAA ARTSweek, Los Angeles Music Center’s Spotlight, and 2006 Presidential Scholars awards. These honors combined with diligent schoolwork facilitated his acceptance by MIT, Harvard, and The Juilliard School. Choosing to study music, Mr. Chen earned his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Juilliard. He received his Artist Diploma at the Yale School of Music as a George W. Miles Fellow. Sean Chen resides in the suburbs of Kansas City with his wife Betty Zhou, a violinist from New Jersey, and their daughters Ella and Maeve. When not at the piano, Chen enjoys tinkering with computersand exploring math, science, and software programming. Chen is a Steinway Artist and is managed by Jonathan Wentworth Associates, Ltd.

14-year-old violinist, Lauren Yoon, a winner of the 2020 Bravura Young Artists Concerto Competition. In 2022, Yoon received a silver medal at the Vancouver Symphony Young Artist Competition. She was the youngest finalist of the Stulberg International Competition in 2021. Yoon has won top prizes in the Ensemble 212 Young Artist Concerto Competition, Camerata Artists International Concerto Competition, and International Grande Music Competition as well as the Bravura Young Artist Concerto Competition. Yoon made her orchestral debut at the age of 8 with the New York Concerto Sinfonietta ,performing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons at the Carnegie Weill Hall. She also performed with the Capital Philharmonic Orchestra inthe Trenton Music Philharmonic Series and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra. In addition to solo works, Yoon enjoys playing chamber and orchestral music
