A beautiful singer!

Seventeen-year-old Ukranian-American singer from Parsippany, New Jersey, Anna (also Anya) Kosachevich was the 2nd prize winner in the Sanremo Junior, a major international singing competition held in Sanremo, Italy. She was also invited to sing the Ukrainian National Anthem at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Anna has also performed with the world-renowned Ukrainian singer Pavlo Tabakov.

An expressive and passionate young artist, Anna started her vocal training when she was seven years old. Her first teacher, Natela Iosebidze, introduced her to different styles: popular, folk, jazz, and musical theater. Anna has performed often at festivals and recitals, and she continues to be a frequent guest artist at numerous musical events. Since middle school, Anna has been singing leading roles each year in their musical theater productions.

In 2015, she began studying musical theater repertoire with her current voice teacher, Linda Benanti. At age 16, she started her training in classical repertoire with former opera soloist, Olga Makarina. After graduating from Parsippany High School, she plans to major in classical vocal performance.
